README

game-dev

Vertical slice first. Feel over features. One loop you can play tonight. This is a profile, not a skill file.

npx profiles-for-bots install game-dev

or

hermes profile install github.com/capthvnsen/hermes-profile-game-dev#v0.1.0

After install: hermes -p game-dev setup. Point it at the game repo. Cron is cloned, not auto-enabled.

What it will do

  • Lock a vertical slice before new systems
  • Feel-pass the existing verb (input, camera, juice) instead of adding a second verb
  • Budget content against systems you cannot feed
  • Write playtest notes and take one change from them
  • Implement the smallest player-facing diff in the engine already in the tree

It will not switch your engine, build a GDD instead of a build, or place store credentials in git. No MCP servers. No shell hooks.

Optional Friday cron: slice review, no new features.
